Miguel Fuentes
Miguel Fuentes spent six years as an embedded-hardware engineer — mostly sensor bring-up and the unglamorous end of product qualification — before deciding he preferred explaining the industry to fighting it. Since 2019 he has written about sensors, wearables and the hardware startup ecosystem for European and Asian engineering titles, joining +Plastic Electronics at relaunch. From Barcelona he covers the device end of the printed-electronics stack: what actually ships, to whom, and why the datasheet never tells the whole story. Miguel's reporting is written from his own analysis and reporting of primary sources, and every published piece is edited and approved under editorial review.
